International Noticeboard (of) Flat Objects
I.N.F.O.
International Noticeboard (of) Flat Objects, or I.N.F.O. for short, is a publicly visual noticeboard hosted at the arts institute FIEM in the Netherlands. I.N.F.O. serves as a display to visualize the current affairs of flat objects from around the world.
Artists globally can send in drawings, collages, prints, or any other flat art-objects for display on I.N.F.O’s surface.
These objects can be originals or copies of original works. Works that are posted at I.N.F.O. become a permanent part of the board, glued to the surface and covered when new work is applied, creating an ever evolving exhibition surface.
The surface of I.N.F.O. is A0 print size (1189 mm x 841 mm) in landscape orientation.
Works sent for exhibition don't have to be A0 in size, they can be as small as you’d like, but they cannot exceed A0 measurements to be eligible for display.
I.N.F.O. is situated at the edge of a field across the road from FIEM at the Stillewaldweg 2a in Loerbeek, the Netherlands and is visual 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
If you want your work to be part of an exhibition at I.N.F.O., please send it to the following address:

Once every 2 weeks a curator will post the received materials in a (collage)composition upon the I.N.F.O-board. Once the new material is posted on the I.N.F.O.-board an image of it will be posted to the Instagram of FIEM together with the relevant references to the artists whose works are posted.
The works posted on I.N.F.O. are open to the elements, meaning that there is a chance of decay over time due to the elements. We consider this to be part of its charm and a homage towards notice boards all across the world and a fundamental part of the aesthetics of I.N.F.O. exhibitions.
Please keep in mind that you can send flat objects of any material, type, subject matter or theme to the I.N.F.O.-mailbox. Anything goes with the following exceptions:
- Child-pornography
- Nuclear materials
- Explosive materials
- Biologically hazardous materials
Do not send work of this nature to us. We will not post these on I.N.F.O. for obvious reasons.
